About

First and foremost, I would like to thank YOU, curious reader, for clicking on my blog.  Welcome to my page 🙂  The world is an ever-changing place and time stops for no one; therefore, I’m going to jump right in and start delving deeper into the world of health communication.

I am currently entering my senior year at the undergraduate level. In the spring of ’13, I plan to walk out the door with a degree in Mass Communication and broadcasting.  From there, I’m crossing my fingers and doing my lucky duck dance to get into Graduate School.  Once I’m in there, I wish to go into Public Health and have a focus in health communication.  So far, I have had one amazing professor that has gotten me involved in this field of study.  Without her, I’m not sure if I would be following in this direction, let alone have a clue what I wanted to do.

In a nutshell, the discourse and implications of health and gender are tremendously interesting to me, and I plan to have a running dialogue of various articles, as well as my own input.  Please feel free to comment on anything you see, and never be hesitant to question.

  1. Speaking of gender, what’s yours? It does affect everything.
